FIFA 2026 World Cup: Third Phase Ticket Sales Begin December 11
FIFA has officially announced that the third phase of ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup will launch on December 11, 2025. This phase marks the first opportunity for fans to purchase single-match tickets based on exact matchups after the Final Draw on December 5 in Washington DC.+1
What’s New in Phase Three?
Fans can now apply for tickets to specific matches following the group stage draw.
The Random Selection Draw period runs from December 11 to January 13, 2026, allowing global fans to secure seats for their favorite teams and matchups.+1
Nearly two million tickets have already been sold in the first two phases, with the highest demand coming from the host countries—the United States, Canada, and Mexico—followed by England, Germany, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Argentina, and France.+1
Historic Tournament Across North America
The 2026 World Cup will be the largest in history, featuring 48 teams and 104 matches across 16 cities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Eleven U.S. cities will host 78 matches, while three cities in Mexico and two in Canada will also host games. The tournament kicks off on June 11 in Mexico City and concludes on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.+1
FIFA PASS Visa Priority Program
The Trump administration has introduced the FIFA Priority Appointment Scheduling System (FIFA PASS), giving ticket holders access to priority visa interviews at U.S. embassies. FIFA reminds fans that a match ticket does not guarantee entry to a host country, and recommends applying for visas as early as possible.+1
Key Ticket Details
Ticket prices range from $60 for group stage matches to $6,730 for premium seats at the final.+1
Sales are capped at four tickets per person per match, with a maximum of 40 tickets per fan for the entire tournament.
FIFA will use dynamic pricing for the first time, meaning prices may change based on demand for each game.
How to Buy Tickets
Register on the official FIFA website and ensure you have a FIFA ID account.
Visa cardholders had priority in the first phase, but subsequent phases are open to all eligible fans.+1
The updated match schedule, assigning each match to a stadium with kickoff times, will be released on December 6.
